It sits halfway between Maastricht and Luxembourg City: about 1 hour from Maastricht, 1 h 20 to Luxembourg City. Why stop here rather than in Luxembourg?
Almost everyone driving from the Netherlands or Germany towards the south uses the E25, the Ardennes motorway. After Liège the road climbs into forests and valleys: the natural place to break the journey. The campsite is 10 minutes off the motorway, in a quiet valley on the Lienne river, with no traffic noise. You leave the next morning rested, with cheaper fuel in Luxembourg a little over an hour away, and Metz, Nancy or Strasbourg by early afternoon. Heading north, it is your last night in the Ardennes before the Netherlands.
One night is possible

Motorhomes, caravans and tents
Touring pitches take motorhomes, caravans and tents, with an electric hook-up (optional on some pitches, to be requested at booking) and access to the sanitary block, hot showers included. Motorhomes have a water point to fill their tanks and a disposal area for grey water and chemical toilets. One car per pitch is included. Wi-Fi is free. A bar is open on site in season, and the nearest supermarkets are in Trois-Ponts and Stavelot, 10 to 15 minutes away. Dogs are welcome, on a lead in the common areas.
Arriving in the evening
Quiet hours run from 22:00 to 08:00. If your stage brings you to us after 20:00, let us know by email: we arrange your arrival and tell you which pitch is yours so you can settle in without disturbing other campers. Pitches are vacated before 12:00, which leaves time for breakfast by the river.
What if you stayed one more night?
Many passing travellers come back for a proper stay. Within 20 minutes: the Coo waterfall and Plopsaland Ardennes, the Ninglinspo mountain stream and the Remouchamps caves in Aywaille, the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, Stavelot abbey and the GR 571 hikes starting from the campsite.
