Camping La Lienne is about 10 km from Coo, roughly 15 minutes by car. Coo is home to a natural waterfall about 15 metres high, one of the best-known in Belgium, as well as the Plopsa Coo family theme park. Kayak descents on the Amblève also start nearby.

The Coo waterfall
The Coo waterfall is one of the best-known waterfalls in Belgium. It drops about 15 metres into the Amblève, at the heart of a steep bend in the river. Its flow remains visible year-round. Access is free from the village bridge and from the footpaths along the banks. A valley chairlift, operated by Plopsa Coo, climbs to a panoramic viewpoint over the waterfall and the valley — the chairlift requires a ticket.
Plopsa Coo
Plopsa Coo is a family theme park set right next to the waterfall. It offers rides for thrill-seekers and attractions for children, in a wooded setting. It works well as a full-day or half-day outing from the campsite. Tickets can be bought on site or in advance on the park’s official website. Bring water and a light jacket: the valley can feel cool even in high summer.
Kayaking on the Amblève
The Amblève is one of the most popular rivers in Wallonia for kayaking. Several rental companies operate near Coo, on waymarked stretches suited to families or more active paddlers. Descents last half a day or a full day depending on the route. Water levels vary with the season: it is wise to check with the rental operator before setting off.
