When you submit a booking request, we collect the following data:

• First and last name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Desired arrival and departure dates

• Number of adults, children and pets

• Accommodation type and, if applicable, vehicle information

• Any free-form message you send us

3. Purposes

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Process your booking request and contact you back

• Send you confirmation, pre-stay practical information, and any cancellation or modification notice

• Meet our legal and accounting obligations under Belgian law

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on:

• Performance of the rental contract for data necessary to the booking and the stay.

• Your consent, collected via the checkbox on the form, for retention and related email communications.

• Our legal obligations for the retention of accounting data.

5. Retention period

• Booking data: kept up to 3 years after your last stay to allow follow-up and possible later contact.

• Accounting and billing data: kept for 10 years in accordance with Belgian accounting law.

• Data from forms that did not lead to a confirmed booking: deleted within one year.

6. Recipients

Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It is only accessible to the Campsite staff and, where strictly necessary for the operation of the website (hosting, email delivery), to technical providers acting as subprocessors under GDPR-compliant contracts.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data:

• Right of access and copy

• Right of rectification

• Right to erasure ('right to be forgotten')

• Right to restriction of processing

• Right to object

• Right to data portability

• Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without retroactive effect

The public website does not use tracking cookies. A technical session cookie is used in the admin area, strictly necessary for its operation.
