When you submit a booking request, we collect the following data:

• First and last name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Desired arrival and departure dates

• Number of adults, children and pets

• Accommodation type and, if applicable, vehicle information

• Any free-form message you send us

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Process your booking request and contact you back

• Send you confirmation, pre-stay practical information, and any cancellation or modification notice

• Meet our legal and accounting obligations under Belgian law

Processing is based on:

• Performance of the rental contract for data necessary to the booking and the stay.

• Your consent, collected via the checkbox on the form, for retention and related email communications.

• Our legal obligations for the retention of accounting data.

• Booking data: kept up to 3 years after your last stay to allow follow-up and possible later contact.

• Accounting and billing data: kept for 10 years in accordance with Belgian accounting law.

• Data from forms that did not lead to a confirmed booking: deleted within one year.

Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. It is only accessible to the Campsite staff and, where strictly necessary for the operation of the website (hosting, email delivery), to technical providers acting as subprocessors under GDPR-compliant contracts.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your data:

• Right of access and copy

• Right of rectification

• Right to erasure ('right to be forgotten')

• Right to restriction of processing

• Right to object

• Right to data portability

• Right to withdraw your consent at any time, without retroactive effect

To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] stating your request and, if needed, a copy of an ID document to verify your identity.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.

For the safety of people and property, the campsite is equipped with surveillance cameras. The processing is based on the campsite's legitimate interest (safety, prevention of theft and damage).

The cameras only film the common areas (entrance, paths, surroundings of the buildings). The sanitary block is not filmed.

Footage is kept for one month at most, unless it serves as evidence of an offence or of damage, and is then deleted. It is viewed only by the manager and is passed on only to the police or judicial authorities, on request. Anyone filmed may exercise their right of access to footage concerning them at the address given in section 8.

The public website uses the Google Ads tag (Google Ireland Ltd) to measure which ads lead to bookings. With your consent, it sets advertising cookies, kept for up to 90 days. Without your consent, it sets no cookies and only sends Google anonymous signals, without any advertising identifier, which let it estimate how many bookings come from ads. The site works the same way in both cases.

You can change your mind at any time via the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is stored in your browser.

A technical session cookie is also used in the admin area, strictly necessary for its operation.

We may update this policy to reflect technical or legal changes. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page.
