General Rental Terms
Last updated: July 25, 2026
1. Purpose
These General Rental Terms ("Terms") govern the relationship between Camping La Lienne ("the Campsite") and any person booking a camping pitch, a rental pitch, a caravan or a chalet ("the Guest").
Any booking implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms and of the internal rules of the Campsite displayed at reception.
2. Booking
Bookings are made through the online form, by phone or by email. A booking is only final once confirmed in writing by the Campsite (by email).
The Guest must be of legal age and provide accurate information. Any false declaration may result in immediate cancellation without refund.
3. Prices and payment
Prices shown on the website are in euros, including tourist tax and basic services (Wi-Fi, showers). Prices vary according to the seasons set by the Campsite.
For bookings made on the website, payment is made online at the time of booking (Bancontact, iDEAL, card): either a 30% deposit of the total amount, or the full stay with a 5% discount. The discounted option is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled; the discount does not apply to the tourist tax. The booking is confirmed as soon as the payment is validated.
For bookings made by email, a 30% deposit of the total amount is due within 8 days of the written confirmation of the booking by the Campsite. Bank details are provided in the confirmation email. If the deposit is not received within the specified period, the Campsite may cancel the booking.
Any remaining balance is payable at the latest upon arrival at the Campsite, in cash or by bank card.
In accordance with Article VI.53, 12° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, accommodation services provided on a specific date or period are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal.
Unless otherwise stated on the invoice, any invoice issued by the Campsite (balance of the stay, consumptions, extras) is payable no later than 14 days after it is issued.
If payment is not made by the due date, then after a reminder, late-payment interest at the statutory rate, calculated from the due date, and a fixed administrative fee of €25 are charged, without prejudice to any collection costs.
4. Changes and cancellation
The Guest may modify or cancel a booking by contacting the Campsite by email.
• Cancellation more than 7 days before arrival: no fee.
• Cancellation between 7 days and 48 hours before arrival: 50% of the stay amount may be retained.
• Cancellation less than 48 hours before arrival or no-show: 100% of the amount may be retained.
In duly justified force majeure cases (serious illness, death, official travel ban), the Campsite reviews each request individually.
5. Check-in and check-out
Chalets and rental accommodations: check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out before 10:00 AM.
Camping pitches: check-in from 2:00 PM, check-out before 12:00 PM.
Late arrivals must be announced by email at [email protected].
6. Internal rules
The Guest agrees to respect the internal rules posted at reception, in particular quiet hours (from 11:00 PM), hygiene and safety rules, and fire-related instructions.
Serious or repeated breaches of the rules may result in exclusion from the Campsite without refund.
7. Pets
Dogs are welcome provided they are kept on a leash inside the Campsite, have an up-to-date vaccination record, and do not disturb other guests.
The Guest is responsible for any nuisance or damage caused by their pet. Certain breeds classified as dangerous may be refused.
8. Liability
The Campsite declines any responsibility for theft, loss, deterioration or damage to the Guest's personal belongings during the stay.
The Guest remains liable for any damage caused to the facilities, equipment or other guests, and agrees to cover the corresponding costs. Personal liability insurance is strongly recommended.
9. Personal data protection
Personal data collected during booking are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, accessible from the website footer.
By submitting the booking form, the Guest consents to the processing of their data for the performance of the rental contract.
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Liège, Verviers division.
